GBL Celebration Station Roster Profile

Well, it's that time of year again - the highlight of the summer for the wiffleball world. The annual NWLA tournament is less than three weeks away, and sixteen wiffleball leagues from across the country are preparing for a run at the game's most coveted prize, a national title.

The Griffleball League has its roster all set. It was revealed last week via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtIhyOM-ei8). But here is a more detailed version of Griffleball's national squad who will be known as Celebration Station this year in Ohio.

JEREMY RATAJCZYK - #47
NWLA Experience: 4th Year
Age: 25
Bats: L
Throws: R
Jeremy is the manager of Celebration Station and also the team captain. He is the GBL's all-time HR and RBI leader. He will be relied on heavily to drive in runs for Celebration Station. He will also serve as one of the team's pitchers after a solid performance on the mound at regionals in June. Jeremy owns a career .436 batting average in NWLA play which is the 2nd-highest of any player.

ETHAN ARVAY - #5
NWLA Experience: 2nd Year
Age: 25
Bats: R
Throws: R
Ethan has posted some of the leagues best stats in the 2015 GBL season. With the Nighttime Ninjas this season, Arvay has a .474 batting average, 14 home runs, and a league leading 43 RBI. He has helped the Nighttime Ninjas take control of first place at 10-4 and, is considered an early MVP favorite for 2015. Ethan owns a career 2.00 ERA at the NWLA tournament which is the best of any player in the GBL.

NATE BRYAN - #15
NWLA Experience: 3rd Year
Age: 26
Bats: R
Throws: R
Nate Bryan is one the best all-around players in the GBL. Nate can hit, pitch, and field as good as or better than anyone in the league. This season with the Stallionaires, Nate has a .304 batting average to go along with a 2.32 ERA on the mound. After winning the 2014 Gold Hands award for outstanding defense, Nate will almost certainly be relied on for his defense in the upcoming tournament. He has also the second highest career batting average, .314, of any GBL player in the tournament.

ANDREW FELDE - #34
NWLA Experience: 1st Year
Age: 19
Bats: R
Throws: R
In his first year at NWLA, Andrew posted a .286 batting average with one home run and 5 RBI. He was also the only GBL player to register a win on the mound at regionals. As manager of the Lightning, Andrew has been his teams most consistent threat in the 2015 season. With a 3.70 ERA with the Lightning, Andrew is going to be one of the GBL's starting pitchers heading into the NWLA national tournament.

RYAN GALIHER - #43
NWLA Experience: 1st Year
Age: 24
Bats: S
Throws: R
The NWLA regionals was Ryan's first appearance for the GBL at the national level. He only posted a .125 batting average at regionals but, his numbers in the GBL tell a different story. Ryan has hit 64 home runs in his GBL career and, he would love to show off some of that power at the NWLA tournament. He has also been with the GBL since its inaugural season. The GBL is going to need Ryan to drive in runs and shut down opponents on the mound.

MATT KUNA - #9
NWLA Experience: 2nd Year
Age: 26
Bats: R
Throws: R
Matt is one of the GBL's best pitchers and the whole league knows. He has a career 1.47 ERA, 71 strikeouts, and has posted 11 wins in 75 innings pitched. Pitching is considered his strongest aspect but, he his no slouch at the plate. He has a career .486 batting average, 64 home runs, and 89 RBI. The GBL may need Matt on the mound if things are tight in later innings. In eight games at the NWLA, Matt has a .200 batting average with one home run and two RBI.
